It's the first of March and there is a heavy blanket of snow all around us here in Suffolk after "The Beast from the east" has passed through! We've taken some time off at the beginning of the year after a very busy build up to Christmas. But we are now back and bouncing around getting excited about spring and all those wonderful blooms that are yet to pop! It has been a very busy summer, and we have had alot going on, and suddenly it is autumn again! Through out the summer we have been working on our ideas for the blooms and buds website. We are pleased to have worked with a wonderful photographer called Charlotte Graham Photography She very kindly came for a couple of days to do a photo shoot of our flower bouquets. So we made it through a busy Christmas - which was so much fun! The Country Living fair was great in harrogate and we met some fabulous people! But now where the other side of Christmas and well into the New Year, here's to 2015 being the best yet. This autumnal wreath has been a great success and used by many as a centre piece when entertaining. But the summer / early autumn glow is going and winter is I'm sure just around the corner. Realising that summer has come to an abrupt end happened a couple of weeks ago. I had managed to get away from what some may  call a 'summer holiday' others may not (!!) However having been abroad and 'enjoying' 40 degree plus heat my body went into some sort of shock when returning home. The mornings where misty and dark with a cool chill to the air. It was taking a while for the sun to shine and warm the day around us. The evenings required a jumper and even the log burner had to bought back into action! But...

Summer is here... The first thing that I have noticed is that people seem to be in brilliant spirits. May be that is because of the sunshine we have had after a few weeks of down pours! This weather is great for the garden though and really shows the diverse range of flowers and plants that our in the British gardens.
